    #Konigsberg Bridge Problem    #Graph Theory
The Konigsberg Bridge Problem originated in the question of whether one could cross each of the 7 Konigsberg bridges once without crossing any more than once. Leonhard Euler proved that it is indeed not possible, and in the process gave us what is known as Graph Theory.

History of Konigsberg Prussia - Kaliningrad Russia

A look at the history and geography of Knigsberg, Prussia (present-day Kaliningrad, Russia). Included is a brief discussion of Immanuel Kant and David Hilbert, who were from Knigsberg. Finally, I look at the Seven Bridges of Knigsberg problem. In solving this math problem, Leonhard Euler created a new area of mathematics called Graph Theory. Disclaimer: I'm a mathematician.
