Are you about to see a digital attack or are you about to see a physical attack? If you've never heard of what's going on here if you're not aware what's happening here, this is the access control credential reader to this server room we've taken it off it's mounting. Not set off any tamper alarms why because tampers not hooked up why because it's never hooked up and Babak here our electronics guy he's installing a microchip about the little circuit boards about the size of a postage stamp it's called an ESP key and this is going to just sniff all the badge system traffic to and from this rear ostensibly. Just from this reader this is a one-way you know unidirectional protocol but he's gonna sniff all that traffic and be able to communicate with our sniffer via Wi-Fi from anywhere within about 50 yards of this door and in future we can come back check all the bad data dump all the bad data that it's seeking replay it we can deny of service the door.

You’re Probably Not Red Teaming... And Usually I’m Not, Either

In a world where it seems everyone and their dog is doing “penetration testing” nowadays, many individuals have started attempting to distinguish themselves by referring to their work as “red teaming.” Heck, that’s wound up in some bios which have been written for me in the past. However, this term is over-used and often misapplied. In this talk, I will offer up a straightforward metric for untangling these terms, and then share tips, stories, and advice on tools that can help you in future Pen Tests or (if you’re truly performing them) Red Team Engagements.
